A Unique Perspective on Philanthropy

I began my volunteer journey at 12-years-old gathering signatures on a petition against child labour that was presented on the floor of the Canadian House of Commons. I have continued my work with charities and foundations as a volunteer, major gifts fundraiser, project and team manager, board member, and a philanthropic advisor. This experience gives me a unique perspective to help you achieve your vision of effecting meaningful change.

My journey in the charitable sector has afforded me a unique vantage point—one where outcomes are prioritized over activities.

My path has taken me from rural African villages to maximum security prisons in the United States to the front lines of endangered ecosystems. This wide-ranging exposure has not only deepened my empathy and insight but has also equipped me with the knowledge to navigate and implement a variety of philanthropic strategies effectively.

My goal is to offer my clients a nuanced, informed perspective that transcends traditional philanthropic advising, ensuring their contributions make an enduring, meaningful impact.

Each year, a percentage of profits are donated to charities that are working to make sustainable change in the world.

The Toronto Humane Society’s mission is simple: To improve the lives of animals. With a team of industry-leading experts and a passionate community network, they pursue this mission by reducing animal homelessness, ensuring access to care, and fighting to preserve the human-animal bond.
Animal welfare has always been important to Kim and Toronto Humane Society plays a vital role in the care of animals in need of re-homing throughout Toronto.
Kim respects their work to support families who are struggling to afford to care for their family pets. With supports like their Pet Food Bank and subsidized services like dental care, families struggling with the cost of life will be in a better position to keep their pet long term.

Partners in Health believes quality healthcare is a universal human right. They partner with local governments around the world to provide care first to those who need it most.
This organization was founded with the goal of providing quality healthcare services to some of the world’s most underserved diseases in the most rural or isolated locations.
We admire that they have built on this remarkable foundation by focusing on increasing local healthcare capacity through investment in human capital and physical infrastructure—something Kim was able to see in action while in Haiti.

World Central Kitchen (WCK) is first to the frontlines, providing meals in response to humanitarian, climate, and community crises.
To our knowledge, there isn’t an emergency aid organization that arrives faster to the site of a disaster than WCK. Whether it’s a war-torn region, like Ukraine or Gaza, or a natural disaster, they partner with local chefs to get healthy, culturally appropriate, hot meals distributed to those in need— oftentimes within hours.
We admire their commitment to purchasing local food and partnering with local chefs and kitchens, which infuses the local economy while people are fed culturally appropriate hot meals that can be delivered within hours.
